BROADFORD, VICTORIA
Good food. No shortcuts.
Café by day, dinner by booking on select nights, and meal prep for NDIS clients. Cooked fresh, never frozen. Serving Broadford, Kilmore, Wallan and surrounds.

Howdy, I’m Jie
Day to day, I run the café — coffee, food, the everyday side of things.
Once a week, my partner Owen joins me in the kitchen. He’s born and raised locally and runs Chéfehome, our catering and private meal prep side. Together we put out one set menu for the night, booking only, cooked fresh, nothing repeated week to week. It’s the one night this café turns into something a bit different.
Good food is pretty much all we think about.
Cooking is the transformation
Every dish starts as raw ingredients on a bench. By the time it reaches your table, or your door, it’s been properly transformed, real technique, real time, nothing rushed. That’s the whole idea behind everything we do here.
A fresh meal changes how your day feels. Less stress, more energy, one less thing to think about. When that happens every week instead of once, it stops being just a meal. It becomes how you live.
Cooked Fresh, Always
Café, dinner nights, NDIS meal prep, every plate made properly, never a shortcut.
No Lock-In
Come when you want, order what you need. Nothing locked, nothing forced.
Dietary Needs Covered
Every dietary requirement taken seriously and properly handled.
Real People, Real Care
I’m in the café every day. Owen joins me for dinner nights. Same values, every time.
