About Us

‘The New Me’ is an Obesity Rehabilitation facility, focusing on lifestyle modification and personal development; developed by and based on the very basic and simple formula that worked so well for our founder, creator and director Adro Sarnelli.

‘The New Me’ is a purpose run facility which is dedicated to rehabilitating obese patrons – specifically 100kg and above – in a safe, secure and private location that is set in the gorgeous Dandenong Ranges in Victoria.

Our program represents true life experiences and is set up to best deliver those experiences that are essential when one really thinks about the term ‘lifestyle modification’. We have created a facility that gives you the opportunity to organize everything in your life so that you are able to create new habits, and then make a seamless transition from life in rehab to integrating you into your own life once leaving.

“It’s an interpretation of what I went through during my weight loss journey and every day since; we use the strategies and tactics on how I lost weight, adapted to the thinner me and how I continue to maintain my current weight and lifestyle to never gain that weight again. My team and I are truly rehabilitating obese people”.

– Adro Sarnelli

Our Promise

We believe our program to be one of the most respectable weight loss programs in the industry. A place for people to reclaim their life through their weight loss and through a series of practical education, psychological and physical methods, tactics and opportunities to grow as an individual.

Our promise to our guests is to provide education, training and support in health, fitness, and weight loss as well as a sound psychological element implementing ‘The New Me’s’ rehabilitation techniques. These techniques reprogram our guests to be able to accept a new way of life which incorporates all of the habits that come as a part of that new lifestyle.

We will do this in a supportive and motivating environment through a private, live-in format of practical experiences, designed to rehabilitate them through obesity; teaching people to believe in themselves by implementing Adro’s ‘Eat Smart, Move More, Think Thin’ formula and our lifestyle modification techniques, enabling them to achieve their goals, and maintain their results once being rehabilitated.

Why Adro’s Way?

During my weight loss journey I picked up so many useful things that helped me to lose weight the right way. There were also a lot of things that were not available to me during my weight loss on television that I discovered and have found to be brilliant tools in aiding not only that weight loss, but more importantly sustaining it. One of – if not the most important things that I did and therefore realised during The Biggest Loser – was that I needed to be removed from my sabotaging environment. I needed to be taken away and allowed a time (under guidance and support) to begin my weight loss. To not only begin to lose weight, but begin it with a huge kick start. I realised there was huge merit in removing the negative influences from my life long enough (if not forever) for me to gain enough strength and momentum losing weight, that I would be able to handle it and do it for myself. I also realized there was a lot missing from how I did it, so I had developed this amazing program and we implemented it as our former live-in retreat program. To perfect ‘The New Me’, I have developed a format that I can deliver as a true rehabilitation program for obesity and all of its related issues.

Two of the greatest contributing factors to my success during my very public weight loss journey were:

  1. The seclusion: Removing me from my negative and sabotaging environments.
  2. The new dynamic: Placing me in an environment geared for success. Add to that, the fact that I was totally comfortable with who I was going through my journey with, I didn’t have to worry about training next to thin and fit people, or feeling out of place, as everybody was in the exact same boat as I was.

It is with these two target’s that I developed the foundation for my rehabilitation program. I added elements of education, psychology, emotional and physical support and created exactly what is needed to change that old obese lifestyle.

‘This program caters specifically to those who are obese or morbidly obese weighing 100 kilograms and above: as I was’.

‘The New Me’ prides itself on being the solution: as people with obesity’s last option!
